About Bento Leal

Bento Leal is a certified Marriage and Relationship Educator with Healthy Relationships California, a statewide non-profit, non-sectarian organization. He has taught communication skills classes to more than 2000 couples and singles at churches, family resource centers, community organizations, substance abuse recovery programs, county jails and federal prison in California. He has also conducted facilitator trainings at UTS in Barrytown in 2009, and UTS in NYC in 2011.
Bento works as a Program Specialist and Communication Skills Trainer. His wife, Kimiko, is retired from her 18 years working as a caregiver at a local senior citizens facility. Bento and Kimiko enjoy long walks, meeting new people, and visiting new sites around the beautiful Bay Area. They reside in his hometown of San Leandro, California, and have three adult children.
