Lake Geneva Hosts Level 2 Blessing Education Workshop

On June 28–29, 43 young adults, parents, and staff hosted a Preparing for Marriage: Level 2 Blessing Workshop at the beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

“It was an interactive workshop with collaboration from both young and older Unificationists. Participants felt a sincere desire to develop their character and begin preparations with their parents for the matching process and the Marriage Blessing” shared one of the workshop organizers.

This workshop was significant in that it was the first time the Level 2 Blessing Curriculum package was used on a local level in the Chicago/Wisconsin area, which comes complete with presentation slides, and small group discussions, and a user manual.

Jario and Leena Vincenz, pastors of the Odyssey Unification Church, delivered the first two presentation titled “What Do I Bring to the Table?” and “Matching Smarts.” These presentations helped the participants think about their own understanding and readiness for the matching process.

On the second day, Immanuel Rinkema presented on the value of our heritage and our legacy. Matching Advisor Hans Rinkema then presented about the details of the Matching Process.

With much support from the community, staff, and District 7 Pastor Rev. Takami, the workshop concluded with participants determined to develop their character and prepare to one day receive the Marriage Blessing.
