Nineteen young Unificationists participated in an introductory Marriage Blessing Workshop in Atlanta on the weekend of February 28. Mrs. Debby Gullery gave presentations to the young people and their parents, along with one guest who attended. The presentations were engaging and insightful, and Mrs. Gullery spent a great deal of time interacting with the audience and answering questions.
All of the participants, including the parents, were tremendously inspired. One youth said, “Now I understand the significance of the Blessing much better.” A parent commented, “I knew this would be good for the youth, but I found it’s also very good for parents. Every parent should attend.”
A highlight of the event was a visit from Kyungsun and Marielle Orr, a young couple who came from Alabama to support the workshop. They acted as emcees, led discussion groups and graciously shared their testimony. It was wonderful for the group to witness a young blessed couple and to look up to their example. Their presence and testimony added a wonderful spirit to the event. It was a moving and memorable experience for all.
