With the start of a new year comes an opportunity to make new commitments and forge new relationships. This year, couples will dedicate their marriage at the Cosmic Blessing Ceremony on March 3rd at the Cheong Shim World Peace Center in Korea.
The Cosmic Blessing Ceremony is one of the most anticipated events of the year for Unificationists worldwide. But how does one best prepare for such a commitment as the Marriage Blessing? Here are some important details for all couples and guests planning to attend the ceremony.
Attending Locally in the U.S.
For couples attending in the U.S., the Cosmic Blessing Ceremony will be broadcast live via the Internet at various locations throughout the nation on the evening of Monday, March 2nd. Couples should contact their local Unification Church pastor for information on how to participate in the event.
Attending in Korea
A fun and memorable Korea Blessing Experience will be prepared for couples and guests traveling from the U.S. The program will include the Cosmic Blessing Ceremony, sightseeing in Korea, and couples activities. The best part is, expenses for transportation, food, accommodation, and activities will be covered for all couples participating in the Cosmic Blessing Ceremony. True Mother is looking forward to welcoming many couples from around the world to Korea for the celebration.

Blessing Requirements
All matched/engaged couples must complete the following Blessing requirements by February 10th to receive the Marriage Blessing:
NOTE: already married couples are required to complete only the Blessing Ceremony Application.
1. Blessing Education (for matched/engaged couples)
For matched/engaged couples, the “Start Smart” Level 3 Blessing education is required and is designed to help them prepare for married life and the Blessing. For those married couples who are renewing their relationship through the Blessing, the Start Smart education is not a requirement, but it is highly recommended as a foundation for God to work together with your couple in improving your marital relation after the Blessing.
2. Blessing Interview (for matched/engaged couples)
For matched couples, the Blessing Interview is designed to help individuals prepare to receive the forgiveness and grace of God and True Parents, and enter the Blessing with a renewed and pure heart.

For Pastors & Ministry Leaders
We ask that all local communities fill out the form below to report how many couples in the community will receive the Blessing (locally and in Korea) and whether or not you will hold a Blessing Celebration locally. The information provided is vital for the Blessing & Family Ministry to have an accurate number of how many couples plan to receive the Blessing. We ask that only one person (pastor/ministry leader) from each community fill out the form.
